Abraham has travelled to USA to go on a mission that seems impossible, if you ask boxing fans/experts.. Not many is giving Abe must of a chance of winning this fight... Abraham will must likely by out-boxed any maybe even stopped by the younger and much faster Andre Ward.. But will this be Abraham's stop??? Will he continue with his boxing career?? He is only 31, but 3 bad losses in 1 year(A little more than a year but still) will probably leave him without interest to promotors, fans and other fighters....

I hope he pulls of the upset.

Still though if he loses he'll probably move down to 160.

Hmmm... he is in between a rock and a hard place if he doesn't win this. He is too big for middleweight now i think.

btw, he looked soooooooooooo slow when he was training on fightcamp. I don't think he can beat Ward

This fight for me is totally dependant on how much Abraham respects Wards punch. Froch was so heavy handed that even when Abraham covered up he was been physically moved by Froch's punches and got discouraged. I don't think that is a tactic which will work for Ward. Even though Dirrell and Froch pitched shutouts against him, Abraham isn't the kind of guy anyone totally outboxes because of his defense, he's hard to hit clean. Hope he shows the same heart he did in the 1st Miranda fight.

Him being undersized for 168 is not really an excuse, his style however is not suited for fighting small. What he needs is to cut the ring down and use his monster build and KO power to chop opponents down up close or on the inside, but under Wegner he remains a fighter boxing out of his shell and using the wide left hook to move opponents into the short right hand - not working against natural SMWs who are too far apart.

He simply needs to get rid of Ulli Wegner and hire Nazm Richardson or anyone who can fine-tune his physical gifts and teach him some inside tricks. Abraham has a good one-two, nice body punching and actually a pretty solid jab demonstrated during the Froch fight (of course that's all he demonstrated), but that only worked well at 160 and vs. Taylor at 168 (beat Jermain more convincingly than Froch or Hopkins). For a SMW future however he must change or move back down to 160 and face Sturm in a football stadium.

Ward kicks his ass and he retreats to Germany fighting lesser opponents and semi retired fighters and bums and maybe some drunken Russians in need of a payday. He's been fighting bums and now that he knows he's not world class he will continue being a champion in Germany.

FIGHT KELLY PAVLIK. Should have happened at 160. Still see this as a close fight as both are small super middles.

    im with this....

after this, drop back down to Middleweight. He's undersized and too top-heavy to be effective w/ his skillset at SuperMid.

Honestly, he's a glorified B-class fighter. He loses to Ward, the Super 6 has REALLY exposed him to be a lower caliber fighter. The result vs the upper echelon of the supermids for him.... 1-3.

forgot he bopped out an old Jermain Taylor in the 12th round to what would have been a close decision....

no way is he going back to middleweight he stated when he made the move that it was killing him shedding that extra weight. Calling him a B level fighter is a bit unfair the other fighters in the super 6 have been really top quality . I would like to see abaraham possibly fight Libarado Andrare. That would be a good fight.

He seemed to have problems making weight at 160 and now he's saying he's too small for 168. I don't know, I guess he'll start his own weight class where all his fights must take place at 164.
