Never in my life have I heard so many excuses pre-fight for a guy who is supposed to be favourite. Mainly just conspiracy theories and disgusting allegations, backed up by not one iota of evidence. If this is what it is like pre-fight, not a chance in hell they are going to be quiet post-fight when Canelo beats GGG fair and square. The only question is how many years the tears will last for, I'm going for at least 10, no joke.
Excuses are lame. This fight should be awesome. There's too much hating, b!tching and complaining about a great fight. A special fight. Enjoy it and stop with the whining about everything under the sun.
too bad the undercard is complete garbage. for eighty bucks it should be stacked. not buying the fight.
Let me go on record saying that I lean towards GGG here, however, if Canelo wins the usual suspects will certainly lay blame on Roids, paid off judges, extra rehydration time or poison. Very few people actually admit they've miscalculated a prediction and most of those folks predict with biased hearts. I'm just praying for a good tussle
You totally reject the possibility that they will make it basically a jabbing contest? I don't! Canelo circling and jabbing and GGG trying to close the distance and jabbing with occasional connects of other punches. Then a cautious brief tussle at round twelve to see who can most impress the judges and tilt the scorecard. This will be followed by either a draw or a hilariously one-sided decision for one of them in order to cause fan dissatisfaction and pave the way for a rematch with more millions in PPV to be raked in.
think what you like. i just have little interest in watching guys smaller than anorexic chicks slap each other.
Golovkin fans: "too old" "Canelo weighed 194 lbs" "referee" "fluke" "NSAC drugged him" Canelo fans: "not proven or good at 160" "bad training camp" "hanging with Oscar wearing fishnets doing blow" Ultimately, people who grace this forum and others have been hearing that Golovkin is a legendary fighter who would slaughter almost every ATG ever from a shocking percentage of posters for years now. Golovkin "should" win, really. If your whole perception of boxing was based on reading these forums for the last decade, you would conclude the fight has to be 90/10 in favor of Golovkin. Now people who know boxing know it's not. I am picking Canelo to win a decision. It is a tough and great fight but boxing being boxing and all we know about it, Canelo by decision is the prediction to make here to cover for what would otherwise be a close fight everything considered.
A jabbing contest is a possibility, but I doubt it. Canelo counters too well and will tag G all night if he jabs the way he did against Lemieux. A chess match is more likely than a jabbing contest. This is only an option if Canelo gets G's respect early. That is the question and determines the tenor of the fight. If Canelo can't muster the power to get G's attention, then G walks Canelo down and stops him mid fight.
