What will be the result of Cotto-Margarito "The Battle"?

    The nightly update of July 21st at 10:30 PM EDT reveals that there are 218 votes cast. By an overall tally of 163-54-1, Cotto is expected to win The Battle and retain his title. Voting patterns have remained consistent as Cotto is by the tiniest of margins is expected to win a decision versus a KO 82-81. Margarito, if he wins and pulls off the upset, is expected to win overwhelmingly by KO as opposed to a decision 52-2. There is only a single voter expecting the bout to turn out as even. Again, keep the votes and thoughts coming on this mega-fight that is now only 5 days away.

    If Judah can hurt Cotto, I know Margarito can.

    Criminal judges and ref, but I will not be surprised if Margarito stops Cotto and renders it all moot.

    The nightly update for July 22nd at 9:55 PM EDT reveals that 220 votes have been cast. By an overall tally of 163-56-1, Cotto is expected to come out victorious this Saturday night and retain the WBA welterweight championship. Voting patterns have remained consistent. Cotto by the thinnest of margins is favored to win via decision 82-81 while Margarito is overwhelmingly favored to win by KO 54-2. There is only one vote for the bout to be even. Again, please the votes and thoughts coming as there are now only 4 days to the main event.

    The nightly update for July 23rd at 11:15 PM EDT reveals 222 votes have been cast. By an overall tally of 165-56-1, Cotto is expected to win the megafight and retain his WBA title. Again as previous updates have stated, voting patterns are holding consistent with Cotto being expected to win on points 83-82 and Margarito expected to win via KO 54-2. Only one vote is for a draw. Again, keep the votes and thoughts coming as we are now only 3 days away from the blockbuster main event.

    How would I know who is going to win this fight? How would anyone know? If I know for sure I would bet on the fight ASAP and win big money!

    Easy fight for coto.Margarito does not possess a one punch KO power like trinidad,Tyson etcc he does throws a lot of punches but at the same time let himself open for counter punches and cotto will make him pay for those mistakes.His he a tough guy?,absolutely but he lacks boxing skills.

By an overall tally of 168-58-1, Cotto is expected to win this Saturday night and retain his WBA welterweight championship. Cotto is slightly favored to win a decision versus via KO 85-83 while Margarito is overwhelmingly favored to earn the win via KO 56-2. Only one vote was registered for the bout to be even. Again, please keep the votes and thoughts coming as we are now just less than two days from the main event.

    The nightly update for July 25th at 11:15 PM EDT reveals that there are 233 votes cast. By an overall tally of 172-60-1, Miguel Cotto is expected to defeat Antonio Margarito and remain the undefeated WBA welterweight champion. Cotto is slightly favored to win on points versus KO 88-84 whereas Margarito is overwhelmingly favored to win via KO as opposed to points 58-2. Only 1 vote was registered for the bout to be a draw. Again, let's keep the votes and the thoughts coming as the time to fight night draws ever so closer. We are now less than 24 hours from the main event. There will be one more update and I will post my pick for this fight tomorrow night just prior to the main event.
