Illogical one, Mosley has a fight in a few weeks. Mayweather has one on March 13th. What part of, Mosley can't fight March 13th don't you understand?

On March 13th I want Mayweather to face Collazo, not Cintron, because Collazo is a common opponent to both Berto and Mosely. No matter who wins it will make the conversation more interesting for the Mayweather versus (Berto or Mosley) fight.

 

Floyd would be top 10-15 if he beat Manny and Shane. No disrespect to Cintron, but Floyd would be expected to beat Cintron. Cintron is only being used to provide proof Floyd can beat a legit WW. Floyd is in his prime, Manny is in his prime, Shane not so much, but dangerous and as good as both.

If he beats Shane and loses to Manny, he is in the top 30. For awhile, Floyd would of have regained his #1 p4p status with beating Shane, a true elite WW, making Manny move down to #2 p4p, which would be interesting.

If he beats Shane and refuses to face Manny, Floyd still somewhat gets respect for beating the number one WW and he himself becomes the true #1 p4p king and #1 WW. He would be top 20.

 

March 13th ok 2 questions 1 being who is Mayweather fighting and 2 what network if Pac-Clottey is HBO PPV and Mayweather being an HBO fighter how is this going down ? You mean to tell me Mayweather cant wait an extra month to fight a unified Champion ?

 

Wait an extra month? Does he have a crystal ball? The winner of Berto/Mosley might suffer a grisly cut from a headbutt, broken jaw, broken hand, etc... that might make a fight impossible until fall or winter. Does Mayweather give up a booking at the MGM and an HBO fight on a maybe? No fool.

Now I think he should pick an opponent sooner rather than later. Any fighter facing him deserves as much time to prepare as they can get.

Who am I making the excuses for? The injuries will be on Berto or Mosley. FMJ cannot rest his future on that fight. He needs to continue. His team has already stated they will target the winner. In the mean time they can't afford a possible 8-10 month layoff. So if the winner comes out healthy? Great. Make the fight. If not? Make the next fight and wait for them to heal.
