There's nothing quite like making sure, I guess.

As it is, I think Camelot takes an SD or close UD: anyone who truly believes Golovkin will get a fair shake in Vegas against the Golden Boy cash cow is kidding themselves.

Suppose they have, who’d of thought Duran would of quit like he did?
Certainly I’ve never been one of those who believes Golovkin can’t be hurt or knocked out either and can see it happening before he hangs up his gloves,it’s an unknown thing obviously but if anything I’d have him passing the torch on like Wlad did with AJ as he’d cop some stick if he retired on his stool

If I was his “strength coach”, I’d go with 750mg of test enenthate/week for the next 8 weeks, stacked simultaneously with 400mg of deca durabolin. Obviously your gonna want to jump start the gains by stacking 40mg per day of Dianabol for the first 4 weeks of this cycle. This should give him plenty of strength and endurance to eek out a shady draw again, assuming he can cut weight from about 195lbs the week of the fight.

Agree with both of these posts. This is one of the better, more artful matchups can be made currently and a legit case can be made for either guy to win. Props to both guys.

On topic; imo, for Canelo to win they will have to further improve his stamina. He has to be able to keep moving and yet commit to hard punches enough to keep GGG honest.
Golovkin needs to apply careful pressure for the first half and then sell out and go for broke at the first evidence of Alvarez getting tired.

    Good luck to both guys.

C'mmon Andrew - 400 fights and never tasted the canvas and youre still not convinced the Golovkin's built from 100% pure Graphene?

GGG would make Hagler his Hearns

Canelo's coming in roided to the gills, concrete in the gloves, garlic on the breath and with a big brown stain on his pantelones

Any fighter can be hurt, GGG is no exception. The thing about GGG looking invincible was the quality of opponents he faced throughout his career. in 2017 when he fought Jacobs and Canelo he looked more than invincible.

I don't see how GGG can improve much for the rematch without taking more risks. I'm not saying he can't win, because he most certainly can, but he will be taking more risks if he tries to do better than last time. Unlike many of GGG's die hard fans, he can't bank on that Canelo will perform worse, if he does thinks his chances will increase because Canelo supposedly isn't on the "juice", he will surely lose badly. I am confident Canelo will come at the very worst, slight better.

I reckon you’re spot on here, something about that first fight with neither guy getting hurt meant that a rematch was essential.
Imo Abel and Golovkin were too obsessed about winning every second of every round and so rushed his work he neglected the body and setting traps for fear of the judging.
I’m sure this time we’ll see a more methodical Golovkin, less nervous early on and less frenetic and more into getting the KO.
Canelo would be mad to change anything Barr his stamina,I’ll be amazed if he suddenly thinks he can stand and trade with Golovkin, needs to find more energy after four rounds imo.
Best fight imo if you know what you’re watching as both are very technical imo

400 amateur fights. It ain't the same thing. And Hagler would outbox GGG handily and stop him late if his blood was up.

Yes I do,I know Hopkins had something to say about his stamina and he’s had a year to improve this.
True about Golovkins opposition only it’s as it should be,top class opponents suddenly are hard to KO and bully around.
And re the “juice” thing were it so that stuff has never had a bearing on ones skill anyway and Canelo imo was wrong to bulk up first time as it could only ever slow him down,if anything those sleeping on Canelo cause he’s looking slimmer are failing to see that he’s doing it to gain an edge.

Lol course he is,his chin his made of something stronger than iron but so many fail to see how good he is defensively with his head down and chin tucked away he usually takes shots on the top of his head and even when he does get caught flush on the chin have you ever seen him walk onto stuff like Khan does?
That’s the difference imo but I do believe we’re he to f*** up and run onto something like Amir Khan I reckon he could get dropped or worse esp given his age.
Do I think Canelos the one to do it though?no I don’t think he’s enough power.

That has seemed to be ignored a lot, Gennady has become an old middleweight . Historically 36 is pretty ancient at this weight.

yeah that's a point Golovkin clearly isn't as good anymore as he was from 2010 to 2014.
Good thing is that Golovkins fightingstyle ages well he might have 2 years left at the top

Well. Subtract the Clen and the wraps. I don't know where he can gain advantage. Maybe use the same judge make sure his foot work can keep him from getting caught.

Hmmm last time is was tainted Beef, this time it will be tainted Chicken.

He'll go with the white meat this time, for a much leaner look.
