I like to stay positive and say Froch will take it. Furthermore I hope that after beating Carl, Golovkin will go back to MW for a while to break a couple of records to finally make his fight with Ward if he really goes back to SMW.

He'll take the fight but then pull out with an injury and retire. He'll try to save face by claiming he wanted to fight Golovkin.

I think he's going to take the Golovkin fight at Wembley and then bow out. I think he goes out on his shield.

Win or lose it will be a good ending to his career. He is taking on the most fearsome puncher p4p so would deserve huge credit.

Yh it's not david haye we're talking about, froch took the 1st Kessler fight when the option was there for him to pull out, ggg has never fought anyone near frochs level, if the fight is made expect a few ggg fans to go :scaredas:

You know what, I think he's gonna take the Triple G test, for one last fight. Massive opportunity for Golovkin to become a bonafide star in boxing, especially if he manages to KO Froch. Though all this depends on HBO as much as it does Froch, and whether they're willing to stump up the money for him. Hopefully they do.

Don't think he will. Is it worth the risk after possibly ending on such a career high?

What's sad is that if Froch beats GGG there are going to be a lot of fans saying GGG was a bum who never fought elite comp. While he hasn't fought elite comp he is still a good fighter. Not a lot of people seem to remember the Bute hype on here and when Froch took his soul the boxing community turned on Bute and down played what Froch had accomplished.

While Froch is faded I believe it would be a very good win for GGG if he wins and definitely his best. BUT likewise GGG will also get very little credit just watch.

Think Froch will make it and take care of Wards business like he did with Bute

I have a gut feeling Froch will fight DeGale.
