What will Cotto say if Margarito beats him again...

Quite! I would be disappointed if Margarito didn't admit Cotto was the better fighter if Cotto wins.

He should at least say something like: "I truly believe I won the first fight fair and square, but Cotto proved he was the better fighter on the night."

Ow, yeah thats one thing I will admit for sure, margarito has a bigger heart, which as a boxing fan I love but I found myself agreeing with Cotto's view, he values his family way higher than to die for a rematch win vs tony, I think he is right, its more important.
But it doesnt mean he is going to roll over and die easily once margarito applies some pressure, he will definitely give 99% to win the fight, we just have to see if its enough.
Only thing I found uncharacteristic of Cotto was him talking about the wraps so long, Cotto seems more like the type of guy that would say **** it moving on accept it like a man, which he claims he does yet argues so much about it that it shows it bothered him a lot.

Right. But Cotto, even if he loses, is not allowed to quit again against Margarito and continue to fight professionally. Because of the controversy surrounding the first fight, we can forgive and forget, but not again, I would say. I could no longer support Cotto then.

I agree, that Cotto knows going into this fight, that he should NOT bow out like he did the first one. Most of us can agree that given the controversy in the first fight, Cotto had a leg to stand on for his reason to call it quits in the 11th.

If Cotto bowed out again in the same fashion in the second fight, he knows full and well how much flak from the boxing world he will get.

As a family man myself, I respect the fact that his (Cotto's) health, being there for his family, is more important to him than boxing, but the sport itself, boxing doesn't respect that, and it can be turned into a weakness.

I just hope we have a good fight on our hands, as I will be there, freaking the **** out haha.

You obviously don't see the difference between the Cotto (that fought Mayorga), and the Cotto that starched Judah.

Yes Cotto is still very good, but team Canelo would want NOTHING to do with Cotto if he wins emphatically agains Margo Dec 3.

If Cotto wins, it will be interesting to see what he does next.

I mean if Cotto did lose, Canelo might be ok with fighting him, and Cotto could win that fight either way.

If Cotto did lose, to determine if he should continue fighting it all depends on how Cotto loses though.

I don't blame Cotto, I would have the same extreme disdain for someone loaded plaster into their gloves when they fought me. Peds is one thing, but brass knuckles is quite another. Getting into the ring with another risking your life, with another man who is willing to harm you and your long term health more than under the expressed rules... well, yeah.... that ain't cool.

I thought Tony's reaction to it was far more interesting than Cotto's proof. It definitely made me question conclusions I had drawn long before.
