That he is old and past his prime. They are already putting their foot in the door. Time for Fury to slam it shut.

The excuses have been out already, every other Fury thread its "he's aging usyk out" & "Fury should just retire"
It's pretty funny. Theres alot of people very scared for when Fury whoops Usyk.

I mainly hope it happens, I try to avoid getting wrapped up in a lot of boxing media BS because until it's signed and the venues are booked and pressers happen nothing has happened - and big fights always been like this in my lifetime, just now we all have the noise in our pockets all the time unlike decades past

We won’t get that far lads so calm down. Paris would have left him before he fights Usyk, he will be demoted to a caravan on some backstreet in Morecambe drinking special brew and snorting baby powder.

Fury will win, he would always win, he’s just the better heavyweight boxer. He can punch, he can box, he’s massive, he moves well, he can stink it out, he can rough house, he can do whatever needs to be done to get the job done. Good big man beats good smaller man 9 out of 10 times. This really isn’t that hard to compute.

Regardless of why the fight is taking so long to materialize, intentional or difficult negotiations, there is no doubt that the longer the fight takes to happen, the better it is for Fury. But, if Fury wins, he will get props from me. I feel Usyk will still be operating at a very high level within the next year, and if the fight happens with in that time, good win for either man.

You seem to be a Fury fan, so do you feel Fury should be fighting an MMA guy instead of trying to become undisputed? It's right there. Other than money, it doesn't make sense to fight anyone else.

Respectfully disagree with your assessment on the fighters health after the layoff. Fury's done way worse to his body than Usyk. Any length of time before undisputed will have a worse affect on Fury IMO, and for what I think are clearly obvious reasons. Maybe theres an argument due to Usyks output and injuries, but if hes injured he shouldt be fighting anyway, so thats null in my opinion.

I am a fan of Fury the boxer, but not of his antics outside of the ring (I do morbidly enjoy how upset people get from it though). But it is what it is, I dont want this exhibition to happen now, its a fight for after retirement IMO. But its very clearly the biggest availible payday at the moment, enormously eclipsing what Usyks "might" get in Poland, for comparison. And since the corrupt WBC cant be bothered to name a mando (we know why), then who can blame Fury. He'll do exactly what the Prince tells him to, as you and I and anyone else would too - Theres clearly something in the pipeline we don't know about.

Fury has given the Saudis his price, and they are going to pay it. Usyks knows his value, we saw it in envelope form back in May. Now it would be a huge difference if Oleksandr sold more, and hopefully now with Skills Challenge in the corner, maybe Usyk will start to see credit from casuals which he has not before. I hope he does for his sake, a man of his skill and intergrity deserves it.

Money sadly makes the world go round, and when boxing is as corrupt as it is anyway, we're all screwed mate.

People will say the fight should have happened in April 2023 so that the division could progress, and they'll be correct when they say that.

I will probably be rooting for him, tbh. I would root for usyk in any case, but fury. I like this annoying crazy gipsy *******.

I'd be shocked if it happens. Then I'd wonder why Fury didn't have more confidence that he could beat him a whole lot sooner. I'd be sure Fury would win if he didn't project that he's not so sure himself with all this ducking and dodging. It's mystifying.
