Has to be Porter i'd say easiest fight for a world title and then a bunch of poor deferences avoiding everyone great in the division, Finally in 2016 Brook will step up and fight an elite fighter. Wait and See Brook's career thus far has been very poor. 30 fights and the best he has beaten is a fringe world level boxer in Senchenko. Shocking really.

Terry you know i love ya, but you are overrating Brook, maidana is on a different Beast level (he makes Jones look like a fairy) to the guys he has faced. maidana has crossed paths with Lions and Brook hasn't even faced a man yet. Ha.

Maidana is a hardened 12 round championship fighter that hits very hard and has a solid chin.

It would be a massive step up for Brook. It's not like his career to date has prepared him for this type of challenge. Maidana hits a lot harder than the likes of Carson Jones.

Everyone seems to rate Brook higher than Maidana yet just one look at their resumes and you would start to question how this is even possible. as you said Brook wouldn't be prepared for what maidana is going to bring. Not a guaranteed win for Brook at all.

Its hard for Brook with WW being so stacked. We won't know though until Brook steps up, how long have we been saying this?........... Years is the answer.

Brook has been held back for so long, by his promoters and his own lack of 'urgency', I have long since taken the view I'll believe it when I see it when it comes to Brook.

Maidana has the advantage of having hard fights against top men.Kells only battles have been against Carson Jones, and he flagged in one of them.Compare that with how Maidana kept battling with Broner, who whatever we think of him is an elite boxer. In January,Kell is likely to have to shift some weight, won't be ready to fight till around May.Theres no guarantee Porter will come here, and I can't see Kells interim fight,if there is one, being against anything much.I could see 2014 being much like this year for Brook and Hearn.Hope Im wrong.

Brook is mandatory so Porter has 90 days to fight him.

They will have until a certain date to agree before going out to purse bids.

I dont think Porter can take a voluntary because there is a secured mandatory through eliminators

I think thats how it works anyway. (in regards to voluntary/mandatory)

    Brook vs Bundu

    Brook vs Thurman

    Brook vs Soto

If he beats any of those guys it would make me a believer hes ready for world class.

Right now though I still dont think he is.

Because Porter just won the title the 90 days does not come into play,Porter will still have to fight him but the 90 day ruling does not apply.

Kells next fight will be MALINAGGI 100%. As a big fan of Brook, i find this frustrating, and still some way off from the level he needs to competing at. Cmon Brook forget the 0 and show us what u can and cant do. I for 1 am sick of all this padding surrounding fighters nowadays. I think Brook has what it takes but until he steps up it is all pie in the sky.
