frankie gavin is as overrated by his fans as martin murray is by his fans, gavin can't even punch at domestic level, he's fought a series of has beens and guys who had a late start to there careers and he's looked average in every singleone of those fights, he shoots his mouth off about brook and khan. and he'll most likely never get a fight with either of the 2, he is poorly marketable, he has no charisma, he looks like a dickhead, he's promoted by fish eyes and his fights are all boring.

Frankie is obviously a good boxer but his lack of power will let him down when he steps up. Kinda felt the same way about Barker but he managed to get a title so who knows!

 

Frankie has got talent, but he's either facing nobodies (David Barnes) or opponents that have a horrible style that clashes with his (ie: Witter).

 

This. However, I think Khan will want showtime on board which may cause some problems. This fight is much easier to make than Brook due to less problems between the camps. Don't understand the over-reaction to Frankie wanting to face Khan. Nothing wrong with him believing in himself, and with Khan anything can happen.

 

Probably keep him wrapped up in cotton wool.
