It doesn't matter what Manny does, he's either getting outboxed or out countered. All the same his best bet is to pressure, lots of head movement, jab to set up combinations, back Mayweather up and throw combinations to the body and head because in combination Mayweather's defense is less effective. He's still losing so it doesn't matter but it may make it competitive for the first few rounds

Void still shoulder rolls against the southpaw whenever it's practical. It's EXCELLENT for taking away their right hand.

As did Hatton, Castillo, Mosley, Corrales. Mayweather gets his opponents respect and hurts them too. If Pacquaio's plan is to walk through Mayweather's shots this will be a very very easy night for Floyd :yep

It takes a completely different kind of fighting spirit to battle through frustration than it does a war. There are many fighters who have the latter but not the former.

Exactly! It's here where Manny's success will be determined!

Has Roach unlocked the Mayweather code by studying the very few weaknesses Mayweather has, and then most importantly - programming Manny to exploit them effectively enough? I personally believe Roach (just like Brother Nazim did), will have the correct strategy laid out. But the question is, is whether Manny is capable of following it to the absolute tee? Or will he do an Oscar and abandon it when the puzzle gets trickier as the fight goes on?

This match-up unlike any other, is just so fascinating to disect!

I think I'd feel safer to bet on Floyd's right. It really is a thing of beauty when he picks people apart with it.

I think Roach has he game plan, but as it has been said before, it's easier said than done. I think Manny has ALOT of pressure for this fight. It's his last performance, his biggest fight, huge fanbase expecting his exciting style and to make it worse he likes to trade as soon as he gets tagged all of this will make him make more mistakes against Floyd which will lead to more mistakes and he will eventualy be broken appart. On the other hand Floyd is in the same place as every other of his fights, he is always calmed and I can see him controlling this fight with that 5 inch reach advantage + his accuracy and speed will neutralize any plan they have for him. If Manny comes to close, he will clinch, if Manny sees the clinch coming and backs out he will get hit, if Manny tries to box from the outside he will get countered with that reach advantage.

It's gonna be a lot difficult then Manny and Roach thinks. Pac only chance is smart agression. To many have came before with applying reckless pressure hoping to overwhlem Mayweather and did not prevail.

of everything debated in this whole saga and of floyd in general this has been my same consistent argument, floyd Greatest asset is his reach to height proportion, Manny is going to have to fight thru that Long jab all night just to get to the point of attack where floyd will crowd him and in-fight him they both have fast feet but the way manny fights he needs some space to get his off there is not a fight of his where i saw him infighting. he is going to do to use his great movement and foot speed but he will still eat a **** load of jabs while bobing and weaving to get within stricking distance

All Pacquiao needs to do is do a lot of sparring with a counter puncher...other than that, he can be himself and beat FMJ...it'll happen, mark my words, and you will hear this from Jim Lampley at SOME point during the fight: "who would have thought Pacquiao would be out-boxing Floyd Mayweather?"

 3 of Clottey's previous losses to Baldomir, Cotto and Margarito could have all gone either way. Clottey couldn't win 1 round against Pac (a natural 140 lb. light welterweight).

Arum is paying that kid off to throw fights. There's no reason for why he would just stand there with his thumb up his AZZ in his shell. He doesn't ever even look tired.
