What will take a boxer farther, great stamina or a great chin?

    I voted great stamina just cause I think it’s cool to perform in the 12th the same way as the 1st.
    At the same time, I look at canelo and think the opposite. He’s got a great chin, poor stamina, but great technique. So on second thought, I change my vote to chin.

    Chin is way more important. You can work around having poor stamina, Canelo does it, and Davis still wins fights hardly throwing anything. A chin needs to be solid because you’re gonna get hit hard many times throughout your career and there’s really no way around that. Also think about how much glass chinned guys get hurt in sparring. I bet it’s frustrating as hell to regularly get buzzed, dropped, or even ko’d in the gym and then getting easily hurt again come fight night. A strong chin is the much better asset.

    Look what happened to poor old David Price and Audley Harrison. Decorated amateurs who stacked it in epic fashion in the pros as neither could take a punch.
