Donaire is former flyweight at his 4 weight class and at the time Rigo was much active and younger.
Loma is at least a weight class bigger naturally, younger and seems to be hitting his peak. Too big, too dinamic for Rigo to control me think

 

They said Canelo was getting knocked out they also said Adrian broner was the next Mayweather... lol the masses are wrong all the time

Well, there is a small chance. Not a good fight for Loma tbh, Rigo has all to gain from this. But it would be fun to watch for the purist.

 

It will have lower value, than it should have been! But not enough $ was invested into it...

With enough $ put into it, the fight would have a historic Featherweight unification -handing Rigo a belt at 126 & hyping him as the second coming- but promoters are already sick & tired of Rigo & don't want to be involved in anything that helps the Haitian. Plus its uncertain how loyal is Vasyl to his promoter?

I know I wasn't the only one to notice the primitive and crude Marriaga expose that Lomachenko seems to have a sensitive face. Marriaga barely threw any punches and Loma was welting up under his eyes. What do you think Rigondeaux's punches are going to do to Lomachenko's face, when they are hitting it repeatedly? Loma may look like the Elephant man when the fight is over.

 

Sergio Martinez refused to say his knee injury played a role in his loss against Cotto. That doesn't mean boxing fans have to go along with what was plainly and visibly obvious in that case, just as we don't have to here either.

 

Rigo has the heaviest hands at 122, even at 130 he will hit harder than Loma. With more accuracy than Slaido, so Vasyl is in a real fight, but for low rewards.

Sergio Martinez will be remembered as a great man, Rigo is making a good move being macho about the weight disparity (its not that big, because both are smallish), at 126 it would have been the same.

If Rigo was moving up 130 to Fight Oscar De La Hoya, Deigo Corrales or Edwin Valero, weight would have been a serious issue

 

I can't speak for Rigo's fans though I certainly count myself among them. TBH who cares what his fans think. I have been waiting for this fight forever and if it is as good as we all believe it will be, no excuses will be needed from either side.

Again, Rigondeaux is trying to promote a fight. Just because he's declaring no excuses doesn't mean everyone else is obliged to just ignore the weight advantage Lomachenko will have or pretend he's not bringing a guy up 2 divisions.
