those odds are from Betfair, not the oddsmakers. Wait a few days for the real odds.

Solido is a VERY live underdog. Not a bad fight to wager on.

No doubt but still think Garcia will tame him!

    Fractional odds, aka British odds.

They're actually easier to read than American style AKA moneyline. (-300)

You look at the 1/3 and that represents the fraction of your stake you're eligible to collect as a net gain on a successful bet.

So you bet $90 on Garcia and get a third of that as profit ($30) for a total payout of $120 including your original stake.

My guess was Garcia would be a solid fave but IB already posted.

It isn't out of the question by any means that Salido pulls off the upset, but at 13/10 there simply isn't enough reward for the risk.

Garcia ought to be favored, at least slightly. I was actually hoping the bookies would have less faith in Salido, to make a small punt worthwhile.

Salido could very well take this. He is as tough a test as they come at 126.

Garcia is about to make a statement here. Well if he wins. I have said it a few times and i will stick with it. Garcia is the closest to a JMM as we are going to get for a while.

don't know if you know how odds are generated but that makes no sense. IF a fight is 5-1, than the favorite will pay -600 and the underdog +400. That way when the house gets action at a 5-1 ratio they get paid either way. Makes no sense carcia would be +300 or -300 when Salido is basically even. It's basically a pick em situation.:good

I think maybe you don't know how to read odds properly. ;)

Lol, how can one guy be a slight underdog and the other guy is only paying 3-1. Makes no sense. The odds on Garica, if Salido is +130 or even -130 can't tell from how you set it up, should be close the other way not -300.

The gist of what you are saying is right, I think. These are the odds offered at a betting exchange. It looks to me like you've got people on either side doing a bit of fishing. You'll probably see less juice when the regular bookies put their lines up, but this is probably a good indication of what to expect.

People really think Salido should be the decisive underdog?

Yeah, I saw the Weng Haya (sp?) fight, but I also saw both of the Lopez bouts and the Gamboa fight. I've always thought Salido has an overrated career, but not an overrated last 2+ years.
