Which part don't you understand? If the referee stops the fight, that's a TKO. And if Khan TKOs Malignaggi, it's far more likely to be of the bs variety after Khan throws a bunch of punches most of which miss, than a 'real TKO' (whatever that is).

can't believe that people actually think paulie has a chance. against one dimensional fighters he is decent, but khan has way too much skill for paulie to even contemplate winning.

malignaggi is there to get a payday and another fight on HBO. he probably going to shout his mouth off once his beaten to get another chance.

If the ref stops it, then Khan won't have stopped Paulie either. If Paulie still wants to continue then its the same.

Paulie was still standing? Almost all (if not all) of Khan's stoppage victories are by TKO. You are talking about Amir Khan, right? Khan doesn't KO people to the point where they are on their back for the whole ten seconds. The only KO on his record came at the hands of Breidis Prescott. Amir just throws fast combinations and the ref steps in. His power is very over-rated, but he could have the fastest hands in the sport right now and I'm not exaggerating.

The Hatton stoppage was a farcical stoppage to say the least. Paulie was being outclassed, but he was never in danger of being seriously hurt. Buddy stopped it on the basis of him being embarrassingly dog **** on the night, that’s it. So yes it may go down on record as Paulie being TKO’d, but we all know it was a silly stoppage. I too believe Paulie has never been convincingly stopped or KO’d.

Now Darni187 is just simply stating, Khan would do well to do what no other fighter has been able to do, and that is to credibly stop or KO the solid chinned Malignaggi. I personally think he it’s a long shot, because Paulie is a tough dude. In fact, I’m not even entirely confident Khan would be able to win. People aren’t giving Paulie enough credit. He’ll be the hardest opponent Khan has ever had to face.
