    Not saying they would say anything but Kovalevs team pulled out of the purse bid coz they were scared Haymon wouldc win and the Stevenson fight would happen there. If GGG has a similar deal maybe that could happen too.

    GGGs unification dreams would be up in smoke.

    If it happens though I bet Jacobs sells that title to the highest bidder and would make far more money in the long run.

    Yea but Kovalevs contract with HBO ended after the first Pascal fight. The Stevenson fight was close to being made when Kovalev resigned with HBO killing the fight. All he had to do was fight Stevenson first then re sign with HBO or at least stipulate the Stevenson fight. Whats worse is that Duva was bragging that network issues would not be in play because Kovalev would not be signed to a network.

    I hope you are right, and I really hate how the networks now are messing up fights on top of everything else. Sucks. There should be more exceptions granted by the networks. Since GGG is the bigger draw between the toe then the fight should happen on HBO. If Jacobs was the draw the fight should happen on show time.

    Just another road block thrown in the way so the best fights don't happen. If it's not network wars its promoters, if its not promoters its from the fighters demand. It's a joke

    Would love to see this fight on PBC

    With that being outta the way I'll be shocked if GGG vacates any 160 belt.

    Then I would lose a lot of respect for GGG and say that is bull****, unless he vacated his middleweight belts in order to do something phenomenal like fight Kovalev.
