Golovkin isn't that hard to hit, Rosado and Ishida landed pretty frequently but it just didn't have an effect, Stevens' chin won't hold up.

GGGs makes himself hard to hit clean, while not being so defensive as to disrupt his own game. Steven's hook is a decent weapon when it catches someone on the counter or they don't see it coming, but that is very, very unlikely to happen 'gainst GGG.

Anyways, my reaction to this improbable event; 'well done Stevens'.

that sounds a lot more like Stevens than GGG, you dumbass. Lets see:
Who has was the more accomplished amateur? Golovkin
Who has defeated better opposition as a pro? Golovkin
Who never lost as a pro? Golovkin
Who is the more experienced fighter? Golovkin.

Golovkin is by far the more skilled fighter out of the two. You don't get to a 345-5 record in the amateurs by being a one dimension puncher. The only thing Stevens has going for him is his power.

    you're an idiot/

My reaction to ggg getting K.O'd would be 'why did he have to challenge that pack of grizzly bears?' Or 'why did he have to take on wlad and vitali at the same time?' They are situations where he gets brutally KO'd as you say, not against Stevens.

I wont say GGG is a hype job, as he is very skilled. He may be a little too highly rated by some of you though, as while yes he has a very extensive amateur record, but done nothing to prove as of yet in the pros. That being said. I dont believe Stevens has the skills to beat Golovkin, but he does have a lot of power, and i wouldnt be too shocked.

I think some of that is about knowing who you're up against. If you know a guy can't hurt you, then you might neglect defense a bit in favour of offense. If you know a guy is a dangerous puncher then you might focus a bit more on defense.

And if GGG get's KO'd I wouldn't be too surprised because Steven clearly hits like a mule (yeah I said it).

Stevens face looked like it been hit with baseball bats. Absolutely dominating performance by Golovkin.
