Just got done watching ep 2 of 24/7 and I'm starting to think that a Pac loss is beginning to surface as an actual legit scenario and just wanted to see what everyone else thought because I for one would be one veritably PISSED off guy for seeing a great fighter lose a fight he had a very good chance of winning just because he didn't train properly.

I know 24/7 is intended to raise PPVs, but IMO playing that "not training well" angle is risky for Pac's PR because in the event that he DOES lose people will actually lose respect for him (I will at least) because he didn't train, whereas on the flipside if he trained hard and lost, it's forgivable as long as he beats the guys ass in a rematch.

Playing that angle is not enjoyable for boxing fans and does not contribute to the sport; it's only to make it more pick-em for the gamblers while leaving boxing fans wondering "did he really give the training his full 100%?"

/rant sorry guys hangover and munchies but had to relay this before I forgot

    I will be in awe.

I really don't see Margarito being the type of fighter to neutralize the super fast Pacquiao.

I will commend Team Pac for taking on the challenge of Margarito.
& look forward to his announcement of his possible in-ring future.

Ok, well at least you still see it from Margarito's perspective..

I dunno, its just all these trips here and there, all the singing and weddings and fame and **** while Margo's doing his thing.

HOWEVER I did notice that Pac's training sessions are far more technical from what I've seen in comparison but hey that's Roach and not Pac.

It's just another fight. PAC is taking bigger tougher men and bigger challenges. It's not totally surprising if he loses a fight.

Just like the first Erik Morales fight...

il look a right berk on here for starters. Iv told everyone that this fight is a joke and cheato has no chance.

But hey...its not going to happen.

Pac will be as spectacular as ever. He will destroy margacheato, then the same old boring talk and speculation over will he wont he fight floyd will begain all over again. Untill Floyd decides that its NOT happening then Pac will fight another top rank fighter probabaly while floyd does nothing

How can that be, it's a fixed fight, Pacquiao is on the juice, there's re-hydration clause, it's a catch weight, and Margarito can't use plaster.

Margarito hit the lottery though, one year off then pay day. He looks hungry and ready to prove something. Just looking at Margarito's camp, he looks with it.

I'm just going to enjoy it and hope it's a good exciting fight for the fans.

It's not the end of the world. You win some, you lose some. Especially with the caliber of opponent Pac has faced throughout his career.

If Margarito wins, it'll be a great win for him, but be seen as a weight class too far for Pacquaio, it also depends if its close, if its close there'll be a rematch

I'm sure its been said before, but if Margarito is so laughable why did Mayweather not beat him when offered $8 million to do so?

    Losses are part of boxing.

I will be looking forward to the rematch.
