No, sorry - but that's no wonder with all the rules and exceptions of the governing bodies...the winner of Wlad-Ibragimov gets an extent of 6 month to step into the ring vs. the mandatory challenger that is Tony Thompson. So Thompson would get his shot in late 2008 at the earliest...
Povetkin has no where near the same power as Peter. Povetkins power is actually quite average nothing special, on the same par as I would say Calvin Brock. And judging from his last fight with Chambers he isnt accurate at all, a fighter who throws 900 punches and lands only about 200 is far from accurate. His stamina seems ok, but then again he was gassed toward the end of the fight and his face swollen. Povetkin needs some serious preparation time with other opponents before he faces Wladimir.
He can't do anything about that. What should he just give up then? Look at Calzaghe...his division sucks ass too.
You know the poster Relentless and Jack Prescott? I've known them for a while, Dan actually got Pierre to sign up (Pierre is Relentless and Dan is Jack). they live in England and have been good friends since they met eachother at a modelling shoot 5 years ago. Well, long story short they model, and do alot of shoots together. They're not gay or anything, they just pose like that. But anyway, I'm rambling. There was a bet and they, by the way they make fun of their pics all the time so this isn't wierd, they told me if I lost I had to sport their photo in my avatar.....so I added the text to make them feel like ***s Dan(Jack) is on our left and Pierre (Relentless) is on the right. :good :good :good
I don't care what those two say.....you don't take photos like that unless your a flaming pillow-biting ***alla :rofl
I think most people would see Povetkin vs. Wlad as pretty much a waste of time, with bigger and better things needing to be done, like unifying CHag's title with the two Wlad will (may) have. But, they have til October to fight Povetkin, so maybe they'll fight someone else, first. SOmeone like Chag, if they can get him and Kohl to agree, (which I doubt they'll do)
