What would a dominant win over Pavlik do for your rating of Calzaghe?

I have to think Joe believes he is the best. Who has proven him wrong? Pavlik is the home town boy, but that doesn't mean I can't be objective. Well maybe not totally. ;) Both these guys got to this level for a reason. I bet both feel they would win. I don't see Joe not taking this fight because he is afraid of Pavlik. (I could see the promoter's ducking the fight though.)

CB, I understand what you are saying and I wouldn't write off Pavlik's chances but what I am getting at is the same crap we get off certain posters on here (not you btw) every time Calzaghe has an oppenent being bandied around. Each time we hear how he'd going to get beaten badly, exposed, etc. but Calzaghe has done the job each time. I just cannot believe people continually write off Calzaghe, only to be proved wrong each time. Maybe they are Calzaghe fans and have a damn good sense of humour!! :D

Or maybe they are waiting for the laws of average, or age, to prove them right? :D

they cant be wrong all the time can they :huh :huh

if JC wins then he goes to p4p 1 unless PBF beats Cotto

JC will take a easy points win and when he does just imagine what a prime JC could have done
