What would a fight between prime Prince Naseem Hamed and Floyd Mayweather look like?

Floyd had a great KO ratio at super-feather and Hamed was never hit hard and often by a super feather who went on to stop welterweights even after his hands started playing up. Would Hamed stand any chance in this one at all at super-feather?

Floyd would outbox Hamed much like Barrera did, but better and at a longer range. Might even be a later stoppage. Floyd was brilliant against Hernandez, a great win at super feather against a great champ who hadn't lost at that weight.

Prime for prime, Naz would likely at least have made it a half-decent fight and given a good account of himself, albeit Floyd would almost certainly have still taken the decision.

But in the real world, Naz was already declining by the time Mayweather lifted his first world title in 1998, neglecting his formerly successful mixed bag, evasive style in favour of winging up punches from his bootlaces and thinking he no longer needed to set things up properly. Mayweather would have completely clowned him at that point. I don't think Hamed would have been stopped, but I could see him getting very disheartened and accepting his fate after two or three rounds. It would have been a nigh-on shutout.

Floyd easily. Hits him easier than he did Corrales. Counters the crap out of Hamed and makes him look like an amateur.

If Prince lands that left though.... Eish, could get interesting...

But enough dreaming, that wouldn't happen. Floyd by easy decision, maybe stoppage.

    Lol.

You obviously have the old, cautious Floyd of recent years in your mind.

The 130 Floyd would have destroyed Naz inside of 6.

Corrales was more dangerous than Naz.

Floyd was more aggressive as a super feather thougfh and had a great KO ratio at the weight, I feel he would have dropped Hamed like elly did when they met.

Didn`t Barrera take Hamed`s left flush though and didn`t Floyd take a full bloodied shot of a welterweight Mosley? Could Naz hit harder than Mosley? I don`t know if Naz could have stopped Floyd even if he caught him flush.

Hamed stated on a youtube vid that Floyd was the greatest fighter P4P in history.

If the fight was scheduled for say 1996 when Naz was at his peak, his ringwalk would nearly be over now.

There's simply no comparison between the two.
The only thing special about Hamed despite all the posing and posturing was his power, but he just wouldn't be good enough to land on Mayweather.
This would be a schooling and one sided UD.

Yeah going with the consensus here.

Mayweather way, way, too big, fast, talented and brilliant. I don't even give Hamed a punchers chance even though he was a top shelf hitter. Floyd for all his frailties as a human being was an awesome fighter especially at 130 (one of the best p4p I've seen in the last 30 years in fact) and was simply the best defensive fighter I've seen at any weight during my time watching boxing.

I dont know how you extrapolated what I said into an implication that Hamed could stop Floyd, or that Hamed hit harder than welterweight Mosley...
And yes, welterweight Floyd (not 130lb Floyd) took a bomb from welterweight Mosley.

I would venture to say that Hamed did hit like a welter.

Rumor has it that Danny Lopez hit harder than his welterweight brother. Him and Hamed are regarded as the biggest hitters at featherweight ever, so that assertion isn't ridiculous.
