The gap here is less wide than their historical status would suggest. Winky's jab and defense would make for a tight affaire, especially considering Hagler's bout with a conservative, counterpunching Duran. Put a gun to my head and I'd go with Hagler, surely, but Wright is live here, imo.
I'm a fan of Winky's, but I think he gets a beatdown here. Seeing how Taylor and Vargas were pushing him to the brink with their offense, you'd think Hagler would have the weaponry to really put some hurt on him. Winky will block a lot of it, but even that which he does he'll half pay for. Hagler TKO 11.
Agree, but I don't think it is so difficult as the others think. Hagler is a better technician on top of all of Wright's considerable woes. It would be a technical breakdown as much one of a matter of Hagler's offensive superiority. He might make it as far as you suggest but it would be a long and painful night for Wright.
Winky wouldn't have any real advantages on Marvin, that I can think of, save maybe hairline. Foregone conclusion on the victor, just not necessarily the manner of victory.
Big fan of Winky but he's got nothing to offer here except participation as in being on the end of a slow methodical beatdown, he may survive 12 but not 15 especially against the Hagler of the Sibbo fight.
