    Get real. Haye got his shot by badmouthing the Klitschkos and because the average Briton was so desperate for a heavyweight contender that they actually bought into it. :roll:

    A convincing win over Barret wouldn't propel Tua to great heights, but it would certainly improve his chances of recieving a title shot. Personally, I think Tua is charting his path pretty well. He's been fighting known commodities with solid resumes who aren't a threat to defeat him. Since Tua carries name recognition himself, another win or two over Barret-type fighters could gain him one last crack at a belt.

    haye didn't get a shot at the title by beating barett.

    he got an early shot because he was undisputed cruiser champ.:patsch

    What it SHOULD get Tua is a fight with Solis.

    Given the problems Tua would face if he eventually had a crack at a Klitschko. How would Tua ever get Haye in the same ring? I can't think of a scenario where Haye wants to fight him (unless Tua has all the belts which isn't going to happen). How does this fight get made?

    at least we had a contender(who is now wba champ)to shout about.

    not like the fat sacks you call heavy-weight boxers.

    don't worry america,maybe you'll find someone soon that will do you proud.

    or maybe not.:lol::finger

    Nothing! But if he would be more active in this current heavyweight state he might get a title shot.

    You don't get it, dummy...No one in the US cares about heavyweight boxing. And it has little to nothing to do with the fact that we don't have a contender. We don't care because we have other sports to watch. I don't blame you, though. If all that was on my telly was cricket and soccer, I'd probably fall for the Haye hype too. :happy

    everyone in europe knew who david was....it doesn't matter if they knew who david was in america(who are pig ignorant anyway)he was still the cruiserweight champ.

    thats what happens when you move up in weight having been the champ...you get a crack at a title....it happens all the time...dunce.

    don't you mean how MANY gold medals were won?

    when did we say are athletes were superior?

    the only gold medal winner i can think of is james degale, because boxing is the only sport i watch when the olympics are on.

    why,how many did you win?
