Louis couls kill anyone he could catch, and he would eventually catch Ali...I didn't used to think so, but I sure as hell do now.

    Alberto Davila vs Alan Rudkin

I seriously can't separate these guys and what a high skilled war it would be.

The one I've already suggested..Duran-Chavez...and it would have to be for 15 rounds, because that's how far it would go...and I'm not going to be "arsed", as my British friends say, to pick a winner...it's too delicious a fight to get to that yet.

Jofre vs Olivares at bantam (or Jofre-Gomez at super bantam).

Armstrong vs Saddler at feather, even if it had the potential to become ugly. I'd just be fascinated to see em deal with each other.

Same principle at lightweight with a three-way hammer and tongs between Duran, Armstrong and Williams.

I'm liking bodhi's call on Walker vs Basilio. Maybe Trinidad vs Cuevas aswell.

gotta be prime ali vs prime tyson.

from a personal mpoint of view tho, i would love to see duran, leonard, robinson, whittaker vs the likes of floyd and pac. just to see if my era really is the best in boxing.

Ali - Louis (Historically based and my single answer to the actual thread ask)

These two are mostly considered to be the two greatest heavies ever and the heavyweights have always had the biggest spotlight and public importance. Well, except for maybe now.

    Personally

    SRR - Hearns (154)

This would give my own favourite a chance for immortality.

To sort out my own divisional H2H best wonders

    Ali - Louis
    Charles - Spinks
    Monzon/Hopkins/SRR
    Hearns - McCallum
    SRR - SRL
Pryor - Chavez (Duran beats em both)
    Duran/Leonard/Armstrong/Whitaker
    Arguello - Chavez
    Pep - Armstrong
    Gomez - Fenech
    Jofre - Zarate
