What would be your dream heavyweight boxing fight, with the choice of any two individuals?

I wouldn't call Patterson a swarmer necessarily. He was more a counter / pressure fighter ala Tyson IMO.

What's interesting is that whilst Patterson was extremely fast, he wasn't really known for his jab, the shot that troubled Fitzs the most. I can definitely see Fitzs KOing Patterson later whilst behind, or at the very least hurting him bad.

Yes, he wasn't swarmer in a way Frazier was but he still came at you. In most cases it was very bad plan against Fitz, but Floyd's speed can be a factor.

It's possible that Fitz would slow him down very quickly with body shots or that he just would nail him with one of his set up hammers. Fitz was known for doing things like missing punches to set up another ones and I don't think Patterson was smart enough to avoid it.

The 2 most intimidating and hardest punching HW's of all time, doubt the fight would last very long though.

 

It would be the young, fit Sullivan so I don't think Louis would take him apart so easily.

One of the few times you'd really expect a first round KO eithe way, though I'd have to favour Shavers.

 

Also, Sullivan vs Jeffries.

I'm of the opinion Sullivan would actually win.
