Hopkins is too small, and falls through the ropes.

    Again.

    No Contest decision.

You got THAT right. I'll go to my grave believing he bailed on Joe Allen when he was getting his ass kicked. The rumour willis mill has it that Hopkins was the choreographer for the Kovalev collapse and how to sell it.

what’s up w/the caps? Are you yelling at me? Is this to emphasize your anger or my failing hearing?

Not saying all of these would be equally competitive or compelling, but the ones I would be most interesting in watching are probably:

    Qawi v. Greb
    Qawi v. Tunney
    Qawi v. Loughran
    Qawi v. Charles
    Qawi v. Moore

Qawi a favourite or something? I love him. The fight with Eddie Davis is a forgotten masterpiece imo.

In fairness, Loughran had nothing but a jab as offence and he turned the trick. Not a put down of Greb, but more of a prop up of Loughran.

Yeah, Loughran was unbelievable. Such a good fighter even though he looks limited at first sight.
What are your overall view of him? Not so long ago I had a discussion with the other poster, who said that Loughran was stiff and wasn't good boxer.

As a more cultured and learned individual, I've come back to this excellent thread, compliments to whoever made it (oh, of course... why thank you, sir!), and so I'd like to drop my takes. As I'm feeling particularly devilish, I figured I'd cook up 10 fantasy fights from the depths of my imagination. One could say as a gift, something to ponder over in these troubling times of boredom and singularity (never mind him, he's being a twat. But he does have a point; stay inside, help the NHS or your own versions of healthcare, and maintain social distancing. It's very important.) Ahhh yes, now... onto the list:

    Marvin Johnson vs Yvon Durrele
    Paul Berlenbach vs Tom Sharkey
    Victor Galíndez vs Dwight Qawi
    Yaqui López vs Artur Beterbeiv
    Charles Williams vs Dariusz Michalczewski
    Julian Letterlough vs Glen Johnson
    Bobby Czyz vs Paul Briggs

    Chad Dawson vs John Conteh
John Henry Lewis vs Roy Jones Jr
    Tommy Loughran vs Billy Conn
