Similar to Terry Norris beating SRL. A legend coming off their last hurrah and a fight Norris was always remembered for. But it’s not held against srl at all.

Not so much in modern day and age unless Pacman pulls a Donaire.

Im sure Pac is gonna give a good enough account of himself for Spence to get some credit. Heck Pac may beat him if he comes in 12 round shape.

It’s Spence launching pad fight into the mainstream IMO. It’s the only household name aside from Canelo that he can fight.

    Pac and Floyd had ODLH.

Depends, but in any case there's little glory in it for Spence. Just money.

It would do a lot for Spence in terms of recognition from the general audience (like beating DLH was a great boost for PBF and PAC).
In terms of sport legacy, it wouldn't mean ****. PAC is still a hell of a fighter but he's 10 years past his prime. Boxing has become a **** show, in which the best hardly face each others once in their career. At this point Spence and Crawford careers would be laughable in any other organized sport.

The main thing is its a fight that can make the casuals/mainstream more aware of Spence. I dont think Pac has much to offer him now as far as an actual challenge but its a great fight to boosts Spences starpower.

This is surely a joke. Pac would be the best win on Spence's record by a country mile.

Best thing for Spence would be to blast Manny out inside 5, if this goes the distance it'll take whatever so called legacy Spence will have had

Looking at Spence's resume, I think Porter, Brook (albeit post-GGG) and Danny Garcia are currently his clear best wins (unless anyone thinks Mikey had any business at 147!)

Even at 42, Pac is possibly more dangerous than those 3.

It all depends on whether Pac really has much left in the tank and this 2 year rest really has been good for his body as he's been saying.

I am hugely sceptical, but then I was against Thurman as well, and he proved me wrong in that, although he did fade alarmingly down the stretch.

A bit like B-Hop, the age means less for Manny than it does for other lesser mortals in my book, and I will give Spence credit for stopping / decisioning Manny even at 42.

But let's face it, in the event Manny rolls back the years and does the unthinkable and stops Spence? That's a DISASTER for Errol's resume IMO. And I can only imagine the laughter in Omaha.

"Biggest fight yet for Spence"...of course. He'll make more money in this one that probably every other one combined.

I actually like it more for boxing if Spence loses.

Nothing to do with Pac, although it'd be another feat on a long old list, but because if Spence loses it breaks the deadlock... Manny might be keen enough on Crawford to get it made, Crawford Vs Spence looks more likely too IMHO.

Don't think it's very likely, mind...
