Beterbiev has powerful punches but looks too robotic and static imo. Would Canelo walk to him or be at his back foot like GGG 1?
He should be implementing the same strategy GGG used in the second Canelo fight. Don't walk him down but turn him with lots of lateral movement.
Counter, counter, counter, and hit that body to break him down little by little, that way its target practice in the later rounds.
bait him. lots of feints to get him to react. beterbiev is aggressive and will be on the front foot most of the fight, but cant match canelo speed wise. he wont have to push to get inside like he did vs kovalev, who has a long powerful jab. all he has to do is present a target and beterbiev will come for it. this allows canelo plenty of set up opportunities. beterbievs reaction times arent near fast enough to beat, or even compete, with canelos speed and accuracy. beterbieves only chance is to get canelo to stand and trade with him where his natural size and power gives him the advantage. but canelos team is too good for that.
