What would Froch have to do to pass up Calzaghe's resume?

Its hard to get excited about Joe's resume as it is padded between good fighters. Since Froch won the world title, he has yet to face a bum. All have been top opposition and if he can beat Ward and then Bute, he will go clear. If he can beat Hops and clear out the LHW, out of sight.

I think you need to take note that a lot of his victories since winning a strap, has been away. How many times to Joe do that?

Froch is already ahead of the slapper for fighting prime elites compared to the slapper getting a W against a bum Lacy and a shot to shiit Roy Jones. His win over B-Hop is questionable and could've gone either way.

    Kiss my ass Calslappy nuthuggers.

If you do examine most of Froch's fights, he only fought "named" fighters, but flawed fighters for his division. He also lost to a very inferior version of a fighter Joe beat, as well as a guy who was beaten by a very old man that Joe beat.

Abraham is a guy who NEVER fought any real SMW of note and now he's running back to 160 and somehow he's rated as a good win. How?

Most of Froch's recent scalps are just names. That's all.

The Hopkins and Prime Kessler victories themselves sheeeets on Froch's entire resume.

Heck, Lacy at his prime is a better scalp than Abraham ever was after we all found out that the guy is just too small to compete in SMW.

Rematch and defeat kessler, beat ward and bute and hopkins and he has not only rivalled it but surpassed it.

    >Prime elites
    >damaged Kessler
    >green Dirrell
    >Abraham outside his best weight class
    >Pascal got ruined by BHop
    >old man Glen Johnson

Even that bum Jeff Lacy looked a lot better against Jermain Taylor way after he got beatdown by Calzaghe and had to have surgery to fix himself up. You know, the same Taylor that was beating the crap out of Froch until he got KO'd because Pavlik already took away his soul?

    Same Pavlik that BHOP executed?

The Super Six has made this happen. Without the Super Six he would not have put the run together. Why are people too dumb to realise this?

    Nothing new.
All Froch has to do is exactly what he is doing.
So far, Froch has faced 100x better competition than Calzaghe did in this stage of his career.
All Froch needs do is continue on this path and he will end up acknowledged as much greater than Calzaghe in every aspect.

either way he did it... i don't like Froch's arrogant personality where he was clearly beaten by Dirrell and won a hometown decision but I admire the guy's heart for taking the hard way back to back to back. Joe NEVER done that. Joe didn't do anything but fighting bums. Kessler is his only good win. Bhop could have gone either way since bhop won 5 rds and a kd should be a draw.

If you do that to Froch's resume, I'd LOVE to see you rationalize Calzaghe's. What's even funnier is that you have "PBF" in your username.. as if you're one to ****ing talk.

and the real fact is, Kessler no claim to fame for any real fighter, as he was/is as much a hype as Calzaghe, and that's really been proven in the Super-6, as much as Abrahams has been exposed.
Turns out the fight between Calzaghe-Kessler was no more than to see who was the King Of The Hypes.

if taylor had been smart enough to take a knee in the final round rather than soaking punch after punch on the ropes he would have won that fight and there would be no carl froch discussion.

however. if he goes on a run of beating ward, bute, kessler and a couple out of maybe groves and degale for domestic props and even martinez or strum then he will have surpassed joe.

I dont know why these debates always pops up. They are both quality boxers in their own right - calzaghe is the much better boxer between the two. Joe fought the best of what were available who signed to fight him and beaten them all.

Froch, got beaten by a past prime kessler who joe beat. JT/AA were a middleweights (good wins granted). Dirrel should have got the decision, i think ward will beat froch on UD. Even if froch beat hopkins it wont be on a par with joe, as bhop is 3-4years older.

LOL, if he does all of that, he would have exceeded Slappy White accomplishments by 10x. :yep
