One essential thing is he needs to start moving his head.

Think he can learn it in a nine-week training camp, MM?

One thing that shocked me about the first fight was how he was able to bully and "out-Froch" Froch.
I think it's a bit too late in the day for Carl to make the improvements necessary and much as I'm a big fan,I just don't see how he does it John.
His willingness to take a punch can work against powerful bangers but not against a so called "softer hitter" like Ward who does his hurting with regular combinations and he seems to be able to neutralise anyone put in front of him.

No, John. I really don't think he can beat Andre Ward.

Even if he slightly improves his head movement, Ward is too sharp for him, and he takes too much punishment and when he opens up he's wide open for counters.

Ward is just a league above Froch, nothing Froch can do really. Maybe he should take the fight to Ward, but that could spell even more trouble for him in the end.

I think Groves-Froch could be a fun matchup, considering Groves sharp right hands.

If theres one punch that has hurt Froch, its the right hand counter. and Groves throws a good right hand counter.

I'd love the fight, and it'd be big domestically.

Froch cannot improve anymore. He is what he is by now. He will lose to Andre Ward and I cannot see him improving to beat Ward.

Call me crazy but I never like to chalk up the result of a rematch based on one fight

I mean there have been worse beatings and viscous early knockouts that have been avenged in rematches

Froch fighting at home (Ward on the ESB home page seemed open to the UK) has been motivated by his crowd and fighting with some real spirit

Ward has been injury prone, hurt hand vs Froch and hurt his shoulder to cancel a Pavlik fight

What if Ward hurts his shoulder vs Froch?
What if Froch made the necessary adjustments and surprises Ward?

Froch has room for improvement considering how fight one went, Ward won handily, whats he going to do differently this time

I feel the fight might be closer but Ward probably wins again, heck 2 judges (unfairly) had Froch pretty close at 115-113 so theoretically all he had to do was win won more on 2 scores and he walks home with his title, imagine if the fights in the UK he might just get the nod if the fight plays similar
