Ok. This situation is more complicated than people think. Everybody knows about Cubans boxer quality at amateur level. But we also have to remember since they can't go pro, they spend their life as "AMATEURS". And sometimes you have Cuban men with lots of experience fighting kids. One thing could happen for sure is their amateur team is not going to be the same. Unless the government control who is going pro and who is staying amateur. That could cause the whole team to escape at the first opportunity.
The other cuestion is: Since you can't make money doing anything else in Cuba, would everybody want to become fighters????
If that happens they will have tons of talent to chose from. Is not the same when people have other choices like go to college or become a famous artist. Besides, how are they planing to do this??? Are they going to allowed the boxer to keep all the money they make as pros???? Do you really think boxers will go back to Cuba if that happens. Is a very unfortunate situation for Cubans. I hope the change they are waiting for come soon for them.

Would you go back if they were to take you money away?? I am sure is notgoing to be like paying taxes. Another question is this going to happen after 15 years on their amateur team??? OR are they going to choose a few good guy and let them go?

Then Rigondeaux would take over the pound for pound lists.
