What would happen if Fury fought Pulev the same way he fought Wilder in the rematch?

I feel Fury was more impressive v Wilder than AJ was v Pulev, but if Fury came out gung ho v Pulev would he have stopped him as quick as he stopped Wilder or would he have looked worse than AJ did v Pulev?

He'd drop him all over the shop after making him gas hard.

Pulev's spine would get bent in half also.

Wilder has a good gas tank. Fury drained it in 3 rounds...

mental and physical pressure is not something Wilder has ever been put under massively. Duhapaus gave him some physical pressure. Ortiz mental. Fury gave him both with venom.

AJ will gas hard under Fury's pressure.

You can't handle a 270 pound monster who is also a slick master boxer with a 12 round gas tank . It has never existed before. Fury is not utilizing these elements of his game. Fury has been letting his opponents off lightly for the past number of years under Peter's defensive mindset. That is changing now. A balance offensive/defensive fighter.

    Agree.
Hard to speculate if Fury would've stopped Pulev faster than he stopped DW.
But odds are high he'd have stopped Pulev quicker than did AJ.

Not that comparable to me. Pulev had already been stopped and regularly went the distance with journeymen his whole career. Wilder was a prodigious KO artist and undefeated beltholder.

Judges weren't impressed with Fury the first time out vs Wilder so he knew he had to do something different. I don't know if he'd feel the need to be be more aggressive against Pulev.

He’d go the distance with Pulev. Wilder can’t take a punch, Pulev clearly can. Pulev was eating a lot of AJ’s shots and AJ hits significantly harder than Fury.

I think Fury put in a fantastic performance in the rematch against Wilder, but it's kind pf fascinating what kind of hysteria one fight creates.

Fury was never seen as a KO artist before, more of fairly light hitting point picker, so let us have more than one fight against an extremely limited fighter with the perhaps poorest defence even in top boxing to go on before we suddenly anoint Fury a more dangerous puncher than Joshua.

Fury put on a boxing display during that second fight that still amazes me. He fought a perfect fight, controlled the action and landed big shots. I’ve watched the fight a dozen times and it still amazes me. No big man has ever moved like Fury. His ring IQ is off the charts and he has way more power than I suspected. He punches were doing serious damage, even before the KO. If he remains focused and takes care of himself outside the ring, I don’t see anyone beating him. Fury’s most dangerous opponent is himself or his appetite for self destruction.

Took him 7 rounds to beat Wilder. A guy boxing fans mock for his glass jaw.

Not quite sure why anyone would think he'd stop the experienced and stubborn Pulev significantly quicker than he stopped Wilder.

Fury UD or late stoppage around the 10th.

Same result. Busts him up from the off, walks him down and hurts him with nearly every shot
