Your last points are spot on but remember, Wladimir was an olympic gold medalist with an extensive amateur background. He's learned his craft well and is probably the best boxer on the planet. Surely, if anyone could learn how to neutralize that particular style in terms of tying up and smothering a further attack it would be him. Then again, Corrie Sanders was an anomaly of a fighter so it's really hard to say whether or not even a Wladimir Klitschko well-versed in survival techniques might be able to hold up to Corrie's unique attack. It's a moot point now anyway. Wladimir needed the Corrie Sanders fight to become the fighter he is today.
Wlad today, beats him by mid round or late stoppage. That first fight there is no way i can make Excuses for that loss but Wlad is much better boxer and would have show it in rematch.
Rematching Corrie today would prove nothing as he was already beaten easily by South African club fighter. Prime Corrie would always destroy Wladimir.
I just happen to think there were something wrong with he’s blood sugar levels in Corrie fight. He was falling canvas like he was some kind of coma. There definitely was something wrong with him.
Nate Tubbs showed you can knock out Sanders quickly. Raahman was knocked down by Sanders in the 6th to get knocked out by him in the seventh. In his last fight Sanders was ko'd in one but Sanders was past his prime in that one. I think the fight would've ended a lot like Brewster-Wlad if they rematch. Wlad by middle round KO.
I have never seen sanders losses (except the vitali fight) Could someone tellme something about rahman and tubbs fights?
He and Raahman were fighting on free television for the WBU title. They were going hard at one another. He had Raahman down in the sixth but Raahman got back up and finished him the next round. Here's sanders-Tubbs [YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ6_BPrWdN4[/YT]
If by drugged you mean put him on ***** street with left hands, then yes, he probably would have drugged him again.
