I would see no point in a rematch other then to wait for floyd to get even older then he already was and let Canelo get bigger then he already was so that someone would finally "catch" Floyd and end his streak.

Nothing from the first fight was competitive enough to warrant a rematch.

But to humor you, I would say that the best time for canelo to get his rematch was after Floyd hit 39-40 and while Canelo was already fighting as a full fledged middleweight, had already been popped for PEDs, and was dabbling around at 168.

This version of both fighters would have given Canelo the best opportunity to catch Floyd while still Floyd was still somewhat dangerous

    ?
You basically saying the same thing . . .
I said Canelo would lose in a Floyd rematch until, just recently about 2 years
(Canelo vs GGG II was in 2018)

    so your saying 3 years.
I’m So Sorry señorito, didn’t mean to short change him 1 year.

    2-3 years = about 2 years …
at least at my age it does.

Never, I wasn’t really a close fight, no need for it.

Based on his age though would there have been an argument a 25-26 years Canelo would put up a better shot than he did at 23?

They are from different generations. There was never a better point to make the fight than when they actually did.
