de la Hoya did the only thing he could - RUN for dear life.

Had he stood his ground it would have been Oscar getting KTFO'ed...

    Beat Tito worse.

    Got robbed anyway.

    Same result, really.

The judges gave Oscar the 12th. They weren't watching the fight.

Oscar fought like an arrogant amateur, Tito fought like he didn't know how to box. Horrible fight.

Tito would need to LAND punches to knock Oscar out. Alot of them, considering Oscar had the stronger chin of the two. Considering Tito was struggling like crazy to connect in the double digits in any given round, I think its a stretch to imagine him doing any real damage to Oscar.

chito used the cheato wraps also.
    people here forget that.
if naseem richardson was oscar's trainer , it would have been an oscar UD. and oscar would have fought the last rounds and take them too.

It wasn't a horrible fight. It just didn't go as anyone expected. Both fighters were aware of the other's one punch ko power. It turned into a chess match but for me it was the greatest defensive performance by Trinidad and the best boxing display by Hoya. So I like it for that reason. Everyone who says Trinidad just walks into punches needs to see that fight how well he deflects very fast oncoming punches. People who think Hoya was flatfooted need to watch his footwork in that fight.

i just saw the fight for about the 10th time and the closest i've had it was a draw. tito pressured every second of every round, oscar would flurry at the end of rounds or just land 1 or 2 telling blows. defenetly oscar won a few good rounds but i have tito up by a point or a draw. put the mute button and just watch it, the hbo comentary was very biased and were hugging oscars nutts. oscar ran for the last 3 rounds and dont tell me that tito didnt win atleast 3 of the other 9 round. tito won the 1st so that just leaves 2 more rounds 4 it 2 be a draw, still had tito up by 1 at the end.

I don't think so. Oscar had one of the best chins in boxing p4p. Ironically he proved it even in his TKO loss to Pac

Sorry to burst your bubble, but pressure alone does not win you fights. :good
