In light of what was apparently a terrible, disgraceful decision today (I didn't watch it), it reminds me of so many times here over the years where at least one poster will say "that's it; I'm done with boxing!"

Of course, they don't really mean it. The sting of anger at the injustice rendered and having been played by corrupt promoters for ponying up the PPV dollars will fade, and the intrepid poster will again look forward to the next big event.

So it begs the question: What would it take to finally turn you off to the point where you simply couldn't do it anymore? IS there anything that would?

Nothing would ever stop me from watching the sport, but I do have to admit that after some of these terrible decisions we get I wonder why I bother.

I read an awesome comment by a poster in another thread here today, "I hate it as much as I love it."

I guess in a way that says it all.

I already gave up on boxing. I just watch it but I don't pay attention to the San tionong bodies too much, idgaf about the judges, all I do now is just watch fights and hope for a good scrap. Boxing is so full of ahit.

After tonights, which I watched...i'd have to say I'm close to throwing in the towel on it. Honestly, that was just sickening. I wasnt a big fan of either guy but Chisora put on a helluva boxing clinic for a HW these days. I was impressed by his stamina, head/body work, staying on his gameplan, everything.

He even threw in some showboating for good measure. It was a pretty top level performance and one I'd call world class since we dont get much action in heavy weight lately.

This. I'll always be a huge boxing fan. but Im tired of all the bull****. Fighters avoiding eachother, fights not getting made, ****in drama outside of boxing. I'm started to feel like this sport does need to die for it to get back on track.

Even if it's plagued by bad decissions, as long as the fights are real I doubt i'll ever stop watching it

unless it becomes a choreographed show like WWE or something

I would never stop. It's definitely a love-hate relationship though.

I'm gonna watch the fights and turn it off before the decision is read.
