What would Lewis have done if he was in Wlad's shoes last night?

Cant think of a great Heavyweight that wouldn't have taken some risks under the realization his belts were slipping away.

Lewis would have thrown the right and knocked Fury out.

Wrong answer. He never had to do this against Grant, Briggs and many others. Instead he choose to,because unlike Wlad, Lewis had other options.

Lewis would have done round 12 a lot sooner.

Then again, Lewis was retired by that age ;)

To each his own. I'm a bit older than Lewis and l'm well aware of what transpired. The American public had a much harsher view of him while he was fighting than did the British and Canadians. Of that l am certain.

All those guys you mention are better than just about all of Fury's opposition.

Fury and that joke Wilder would have been sparked by a bunch of Lennox's opponents.

Smart as we told you. Know when you have done something special and call time rather than have father time embarrass you.

Lewis lucked out he was getting outboxed by Vitali which led to his retirement, if he never fought Vitali he might have been badly embarrassed by father time.

Wlad should have been that opponent - given Lewis had done a surgical bashing job on his big brother.

Never heard a peep from Wlad about avenging his big brother.:deal :think

Lewis had a stronger mentality than Wald, I never saw him struggle like that and not come back with anything. Even when he was getting the **** beaten out of by Vitali he was still looking for those big punches to end it.

I like Fury and am glad he won but he is still lacking in the skills department imo, he just had a good plan and wore the old Wald out. He could never have done that to Lewis, he could be much more aggressive that Wald and would have landed the right hand at some point. Even against Wald Tyson was open but the champ couldn't pull the trigger, Lennox would have given that opening.

I am not a Lewis fan boy but he was in a differnt league to these guys, he was in tough fights and mostly prevailed when in this situation. People say Lennox could be gun shy but compared to Wald he was Jack Dempsy.
