Tyson was a wrecking ball but i think facing some of the big names earlier his fragility and his lack of testicular fortitude would have been exposed, as Dempsey said "A champion is someone who gets up when he can't”, Mr Tyson did not.

Of course no one should ever write Tyson off at that stage he was a fearsome opponent, but champions see through that and identify chinks in armour.

 

In 91 Holyfield went life and death with Bert cooper before stopping him in the 7th, they say styles make fights and cooper had a style levels below but similar to Tyson's. I think 91 Tyson stops holyfield

 

He would have lost to Holyfield after beating Ruddock.
Tyson would probably also have had fights against either Lewis or Bowe or both in the first of half of the 90s. Fights that are winable for him, but I suppose he would lose the rematches in both cases, should he win the first fight(s).
A match against Morrison could also have taken a place, in which Tyson dominates.
In this hypothetical timeline I also see Tyson retiring before the 2000s, and hopefully stays retired without any financial debubcles.

Tyson did not beat Octavio Meyrans count, so he did not get up before the fight had ended.

Oh ok, are we talking the Evan Fields thing here? I'm not really up to date on that, fact is, Holyfield was the only legit contender Tyson could not intimidate except for Douglas, one night in Tokyo. I don't understand how anyone can say Tyson is beating Holyfield, in so-called primes or not. They fought twice for the heavyweight title when they were the two best in the world, close enough to any of their primes. They fought twice, Holy beat him twice FFS! It's a moronic argument, it actually happened Tyson lost and I won money on it, **** all, to be honest but it made me happy.
