No they won't , it the same when he fought Corrales, excuse . the same when he gave castillio a rematch - excuse the same thing when he fought Gatti many thought that gatti would smash the smaller Floyd - excuse Zab - excuse
baldi - excuse .. There will always be an excuse, so it really does not matter at this point.

IF!!! Its good you think he can beat them but beat them first. They likewise, being legit WW's has a good chance of beating him too. You're too far ahead and already defensive. I even doubt he beats Mosely or Williams even if he ran all night. Dont give reasons why he shouldnt fight them, give us something different than Floyd trying to avoid them because you cant handle the excuses IF he ever wins.:hi:

 

In a nutshell Floyd only needs to do what the fighters he either belittled in comparison to himself or talked about being in the league of did: FIGHT THE BEST IN HIS WEIGHT CLASS. I don't mind him fighting Pac because if you remember(and before you jump me no I'm not saying Pac is Duran) Duran jumped from lightweight to welterweight and handed an ATG in SRL his first professional loss at Leonard's best weight and in a manner that seemed inconcievable for a fighter moving up so far in weight.

Floyd has talked **** about Ali, SRR,SRL and Duran....using the logic that just because they have losses that they are beneath him. But not all losses are the same. I take nothing away from any fighter who lost to fighters who deserved to be in the ring with them, because they stepped up to the challenge. And if you fight a great or ATG fighter you very well might lose.

I can't stand the "oh I'd beat him anyway so I won't fight him" mentality that some people use to justify turning away a legitimate challenge. Fights are won in the ring and not in theoretical fantasy. What fun would boxing be if a computer just uses statistics to spit out winners for every fight? If the fighter is the best available, then FIGHT HIM AND LEAVE NO DOUBTS. You can't please everyone but that is the most you can do and the most that can ever be reasonably asked for. Do the work in the ring against the best at your weight and history will be kind to you.

 

youre an idiot. marquez is a lighweight, and floyd was over the agreed limit. this is why people dislike floyd. he is to cautious in his style and choice of opponent.

lets see all the fighters he had he chance to fight. kostya tszyu,cotto,margarito,williams,mosely and pac. besides pac, those fighters were all around his weightclass and real tough fighters. why has he not fought any of them?

he will get credited once he starts fighting real tests and in an entertaining way. untill then people have the right to critisize.

 

That fight would be a complete waste of time.... even before Mosely stopped Margarito, all I could see was a Mayweather shutout vs this guy, he`s slow as a snail, terrible defence & fights the exact same way all the time, he would be made to look like a child vs FMJ, terrible style match-up for Margo, terrible.
