Wow. You even criticize him for fighting someone bigger than Welterweight? Whereas Pacquiao required the skeleton of De La Hoya, Floyd fought a healthy De La Hoya a weight class higher, and yet takes flack. Unbelievable.

Yeah, I've never understood people criticising PBF's win over DLH. That's top quality, and it's sad people won't give him credit for it.

In fact, if you recall, a large percentage of people were sure that Baldomir would give Floyd a very tough test based on his size. They thought Floyd would win, but face a very stiff challenge. Russ Anber (a good guy) is one of the experts who predicted a tough night for Floyd, for instance. Yet after the fight it "was clear that it would be easy for Floyd". Same old.

The terrible thing is having to still explain this to people. It is plain as day.

No, there's not enough money in Quintana or Clottey. If there was, he'd put them to rest also.

So Floyd has to engage in a slugfest to win your approval?

No, those are all commonplace "reasons" for those who hate the best fighter on the planet.

Floyd's win over De La Hoya at 154lbs on its own is a massive accomplishment. Then you factor in all of the terms in the contract that favoured De La Hoya and you just have to wonder when Floyd will begin to get the credit he deserves. They say he cherrypicks, yet he conceded EVERYTHING to De La Hoya just to get him in the ring. Then he capitalized on that opportunity. Skills pay the bills, and he's got skills in spades.

the win over oscar was a very good win but dont make it out to be more than it is. oscar was a past prime, part time fighter who fought floyd to a split decision. sure oscar was bigger but not much bigger than a guy who cant make 145lbs. pac humiliated oscar but that win means about as much as floyds when all factors are considered.
i dont like the fact that floyd is a hustler who tries to make his accomplishments appear greater than they are by spinning every little fact into something only his huggers will believe.
i have my favorites but i dont invest all my energy into convincing people of how great these guys are. i let their accomplishments speak for themselves without my added spin.

So please just shut me up!

Massive accomplishment my ass... Floyd was the favorite to defeat DelaHoya in that fight... There's nothing special in Floyd's performance in that fight... How can that be massive (except for financial return)??:huh

So I guess if williams and pbf indeed happen, at a catchweight of 155, and floyd weighed in at 154 while williams DID NOT EVEN TRY TO MAKE 155 and instead weighed in at 158?? Since both of them are no KO punchers ( williams, as you may know by now, is a punches in bunches type of guy), then it should be OK for them to fight. According to your logic at least.

Get floyd's dick outta your mouth for a minute ...DURRRRR

BUT no way in hell will he ever fight these guys because oh apparently they are "too tall" for him!

Let's see a 154 version of Pavlik. In fact, lets see a 147 version of Williams - the guy is boxing at MW in his next fight, should tell you something about his true size.
