I enjoyed watching Morrison fight as you never really knew what would happen. He had ATG power and some good skills but his lack of stamina/chin against Rocky or almost any other ATG spells doom. Rocky in 3 or less.

    1. Morrison taking Bentt lightly shows a stupidity heavyweight boxers can’t afford to have. He showed it multiple times and was able to overcome being hurt with a combination of his power and luck. See: Ruddock v Morrison. His power would not bail him out against Rocky’s chin.
    2. He was up for the Lewis fight and was obliterated. He was up for the Mercer fight and Ray ate his soul. Being up for a fight and winning it are not the same thing. See: Marciano’s 49-0 record.

I agree on all points. Just being up for a fight is not enough against a guy like Rocky. He took Bentt lightly, I'm sure, and paid the price.
He may try and fight Marciano differently even. Like he did Foreman. Not that that would work as well as it did against Big George.
He wouldn't have the luxury of being in against an ageing man

Probably busts Rocky up early, then his momentum gets progressively grinded to a halt as Rocky keeps wearing him down relentlessly. Marciano by KO mid rounds.

Tommy is always going to stand a chance against anyone because punches always have a chance - they can change an entire bout with one blow.

    2 reasons:
    - some posters here are nostalgic and don't get the fact that a boxer doing well in one era is irrelevant to how he'd stack up to boxers from other eras
    - some posters are nuts.
Morrison mops the floor with Marciano

    Highly unlikely I submit.

He had power, but that is about it.

Actually, it's the most likely outcome. He's superior to Marciano in almost every possible way: speed, strength, skill, agility.
Only thing Marciano's got going for him is stamina, but that won't ever come into play, Morrison takes him out in 1 round.

He is vastly inferior to Marciano in one critical department.

    Chin.
    Ridiculous.

How can you possibly predict that a man who was never stopped would get taken out in one round?

Cause the man who was never stopped faced weak competition, and never such a big one punch hitter like Morrison.
Cause the man who was never stopped is way smaller and less skilled.
