What would Usyk need to do to get inside your top 10 all time heavyweight list?

You weren't gonna miss your chance to disparage Foreman yet again, that's for sure.

So you think it's sane to rank Foreman above Lewis?

Were Dubois to lose to Joshua that would have absolutely nothing to do with Tyson Fury.

Fury hasn't looked impressive recently and appears to be well past his prime

Looks like we won't have to wait until September to start the backtracking.

    This was your post
You stated Fury AND Joshua weren't the best around. I asked you to throw out names of fighters who you would say are better today. The question I asked was, who around today is better than both Fury AND Joshua.

Aside from that Fury probably is past prime, but he still did significantly better than a peak Dubois against Usyk and gave Usyk the hardest fight of his career.

Joshua could be among the best but he hasn't scored an impressive win since 2018. Well have to wait and see how he does against Dubois and whoever he fights afterwards. If he beats Dubois and Kabayel obviously that would help his case.

Yes. I can see the arguments for ranking Lewis above Foreman but Foreman also has some advantages. He has arguably the two greatest wins in heavyweight history 21 years apart, and was never KTFO by the likes of Rahman and McCall.

Beating Michael Moorer is light years from the best win in heavyweight history.

He lost to Jimmy Young and never avenged it (or any loss), but I guess he has the excuse about not enough leg room on the airplane or whatever it was.

Not if we’re talking about boxing.

Winning the title at age 45, 21 years after having lost it is not light years away from the best win in heavyweight history.

    Now this is rich.

Your number 4, is a poster boy for having his big brother avenge his losses for him and only avenged a single loss in his career along with your number 2. Your number 5 didn't avenge any.

I can assure you Foreman wouldn't need to avenge any losses to the likes of Norton, Frazier (both of whom he beat the first time around with ease unlike Ali), Spinks, Schmeling, Brewster, Rahman, and McCall.

Yup that explains his relatively poor rankings of number 1 by WBO, IBF, and WBC, and number 2 by WBA, and The Ring. Go tell those organizations what they got wrong.

I imagine they'll laugh in your face and say "Wait a minute, aren't you the same guy who used to send us letters daily begging us to acknowledge Anthony Joshua as the best of all time?"

That Jimmy Young though. Clearly in a class above Spinks, Shcmeling, Brewster, Rahman, and McCall. He was so good that the loss was unavengable.

Joshua's failure to fight his contemporaries raises questions about how he rates in his own era. We don't get to grant him victory over men he didn't fight. You thinking he could beat various guys doesn't change the fact that he hasn't beat them in actuality.

And why should good wins back in 2017/2018 give him a high ranking now? Doesn't he need to keep proving himself?

The Ring's current top 3 at HW are:

    C - Usyk
    1 - Fury
    2 - AJ

    What's yours?

I noticed you edited out the parts criticizing him for not fighting Wilder and Zhang, when in reality he tried to fight Wilder but Wilder turned him down to fight Fury in a rematch for less money, because he felt obligated to give him a rematch after their first fight.

As for Zhang, he just burst on the scene last year with an upset over Joyce. He had a contracted rematch in his clause with Joyce. Joshua went on to fight Ngannou and Zhang fought and lost to Parker the same month. Why the hell would Zhang get a shot at the number one contender after a loss (to a man that'd already lost to the number one contender no less)?

This thinly veiled implication that Joshua ducked Zhang is absolutely laughable but totally appropriate coming from you.
