What would you consider long reach for a super middleweight boxer

    because from my fist to shoulder is 26 inches would that be a good reach for a super middle weight boxer
    my width span from finger tip to finger tip is 78

    What if I told you you had a good reach but then your next 3 opponents had a longer reach than you? Would you refuse to fight them, quit boxing?

    People really over-think minor things like this.

    Agree.

    Maybe you have longer reach than your opponent but he has longer arms. Maybe you have longer reach but he knows how to negate it. As Virus mentioned, don't over-think it.

    Meh, its not great reach but not bad. But there are so many factors that negate reach that I think it doesn't matter much. I've seen shorter guys blow out longer reach guys. Watch a guy called lomachencko in the finals of 60kg at the olympics. Korean guy clearly had superior reach longer arms, but his foot quickness allowed him to close in hit Korean and dominate him, his reach was actually a hinderance in the fight because if he was shorter and less reach at least he would have tried to come up with a better
