to try and insure the seemingly endless string of bad luck afflicting the super six doesn't **** up your tournament?

after thinking about this, i've only been able to come up with one answer.

boxing tournaments should happen single elimination all on the same night, and the two winners should fight a finals match at a later date, like don king often did back in the 80's and 90's with heavyweights. when are promoters gonna realize, this isn't a team sport where you can sit on the bench if you're injured and the show goes on. with boxing tournaments if a participant gets injured badly enough the whole thing implodes and turns into something else. if they wanted to benefit the fans, the promoters wouldn't have drawn out this tournament. they've tried to squeeze as much money out of this thing as possible instead of creating a beeline to the winner's box, and now we're going to have to watch fights that take place after the tournament winner is crowned to see who the real tournament winner will be. gay, isn't it?
