I think he didn't literally mean 'Cry"; I believe he just mean real men don't care about stuff like this. . . Which obviously I really didn't care that much. . Which is why I simply asked them about it, and didn't make a big deal of it.

You just said you'd be so upset over it, you'd get in a fight.

You did the right thing. Sometimes, being a bit of a hard ass is what it takes for these incidents to never happen again. Maybe now they'll ask the next time.

I probably would have taken it one step further and straight up told them to not use my **** before asking, but props.

Use a permanent marker and mark your stuff bro. I put my initials on all my ****, but be aware there will be miscommunications or unintentional stuff happening. You did fine, just like I said mark your stuff and if you dont have a locker keep your stuff close to you. Duffel bags/backpacks work good.

i think u did the right thing.. was barely a situation anyways wouldnt really have given it anymore though myself..

but if they were tryin to sneak them away or stealin i would really be annoyed with that and probly asked them not to come back. the coaches would have taken my side over something like that.
when i was training seriously we had a tight lil crew of no more then about 10 and we were all good mates outside of boxing as well. had my own set of keys to the gym n all.

I would feel comfortable telling someone not to get out n not to come back unless if I caught them stealling the gyms stuff, my stuff or anyone else's stuff even if i didnt know the person. Although a sincere appology and agreeing to never do it again would allow them back.

stealing anything or anyone stuff from a boxing gym is a deadly sin imo... right up there next to murder!! :deal

It's probably been said before in this thread but I can't be bothered to read any of it, but since as they were new members surely your first thought would have been that they thought the gloves were the gyms (if they have a supply) and free to use. And also yanks calling a skipping rope a jump rope is ****ing gay.

Khan, you don't go to that B2B boxing place in the triangle do you? I'm looking at boxing clubs, the B2B place looks charmingly gritty, but UNC's boxing club starts up in fall, trying to decide here. Heard bad **** about LA boxing from some locals

Nah, I'm in Michigan right now, but when I was living in the triangle area, I hadn't started boxing yet.

B2B is supposedly a solid place, though . . . LA boxing is garbage from what I've heard.
