Out of those 7 fighters mentioned only Mayweather and Mosely have actually fought each other. I don't think getting rid of 140 would change that stat.

Yeh, but if you had more world class fighters, they would have to at least fight one or two of them.

I think there should only be 8 or 9 weight classes as well but again that ain't gonna happen unless the sport really goes downhill and boxing is almost completely dead.

Thats just pure guesswork though mate. You'd like to THINK that Bradley and Khan would have to fight or that Pac and Mayweather would have to fight but it still ain't happening...

One of the few "modern" introductions (some have been around over 50 years now) I do favour is the "*******" weight classes. I think there is enough of a gap inbetween the divisions over fly and bantam for those "new" classes to be warranted.

With less classes the definition of being ''world class'' would be entirely different :yep

You only have to look at Haye Harrison to see that there is a good chance that this matchup isnt going to produce major fireworks.

Even with a guy like Harrsion he was wary and cagey didnt want to throw something just in case. eventually of course he realised there was no threat so just battered him.

Klit (wlad) will be super cautious himself wary of Hayes power but at the same time Haye wont want to jump in and get poleaxed. what results is a cagey battle with few shots thrown and when they are its in short spurts similar to Valuev but probably with more menace from each side

It could be a bit similar to Wlad's 'fight' against Ibragimov a couple of years ago. We know that Haye won't throw too many punches and Klitschko will be cautious as always, probably even more so. The only difference though is that if he does fall miles behind, you would assume or at least hope that Haye would throw almost everything at Wlad. Plus Haye always has the power to change it with one punch to keep it interesting enough.
