It's gotta be Pac-Cotto winner. If not those then I'd prefer Williams (I wish /cry) then Mosley. If not that. Then Pavlik but albeit the history, the fight to be made is the Cotto-Pac winner. Simple as that.

If Mayweather defeats Pacquiao he will be accused of beating a smaller guy who was 106 pounds 10 years ago. If he beats Cotto he will be accused of facing a shopworn fighter. If he beats Mosely he will be accused of fighting an older fighter who is past it.

What the **** is it with you and Mayweather fighting at 160+?! The guy started off his career below Lightweight, for ****'s sake.

Anyway, I think Mosley should be his next fight. Mosley, I think, is the most proven at 147, and would give Floyd his biggest test: he can impose himself against the biggest at 147 and even 154, and has a good skillset, ring generalship and the speed needed to land. I still feel Pacquiao is a little small (though that might change if he stops Cotto, though I don't see that happening) and Cotto is possibly a little slow for Floyd.

I think we'd all be glad to see him fight any of the big three, though, really, rather than pick on weak opposition.

i think he could beat pavlik & froch...

i think the pavlik fight would be harder tho since pavlik consistently jabs.... i think he would shut froch out clearly

He's not doing anything right now and he's no longer retired. I think he should make the fight with Mosley for his title and then unify against the winner of Cotto-Pacquiao.

Do you have any idea how much size matters in boxing? Floyd didn't hit hard at 130. There's no way he's getting the respect of guys as big and tough as Pavlik and Froch. They would laugh at his ***** little straight right hands. They could run around the ring at him with their arms down, throw him into the corner and batter him into submission. Floyd would get brutally KTFO'd against anyone who gets in the ring almost two stone heavier and a foot taller than him.

    Could Floyd beat Vitali Klitschko?

fight Sugar and then the winners of Firepower and SSM-FMJ square off...hell, the losers could square off too

then we'd have a distinct best WW in the world, and probably even best P4P as well

Some of the **** I read on here is beyond hilarious. If you want to see what a fight between PBF/Pavlik or PBF/Froch would look like, just stay in fantasy land, and watch Rocky Balboa/Clubber Lang I.

I'd be happy if PBF would fight Shane or Cotto. "To be the man, you have to beat the man," and not just run your mouth.

Floyd against Shane, has to be. Thats the fight that means something, the current WW king against the guy who claims he is the best WW.

It may not be Floyds fault before for them not meeting, but he's sure as **** duckin him now!! Theres no reason for this fight not happening except for Floyd duckin.

And nobody better say he doesn't have to face Mosley because Mosley turned down a fight before. The is the most childish excuse ever, grow up.
