I am not a huge fan of either fighters, but from all the posts I have been reading, Calzaghe fans seem to keep calling Hopkins old or slow, that Hopkins doesnt stand a chance with the supposed unbeatable Joe Calzaghe.

Calzaghe fans, if in fact Hopkins does happen to win, will you give Hopkins praise, will you just make excuses why your fighter lost, or will you demand Calzaghe retire, because it seems most of the Calzaghe fans think Hopkins doesnt have the boxing ability anymore to compete with the elite, so if Joe would happen to lose Hopkins, where does that leave him as a fighter in your opinion?

The only way Joe impresses in this fight is by stopping Hopkins....getting a UD with workrate and those silly slaps won't impress anyone as we all know Hopkins can't compete with the workrate.

If Joe loses however it'll just be proof that he's the overhyped **** all the knowledgable fans thought he was anyway. This is a lose-lose fight for Calzaghe, unless he stops the old man (which I doubt he has the power or skills to do anyway)

I will say it's a fantastic win by an all-time great over a current great.

Anyone who says Calzaghe is "exposed" instantly proves they are a sheep who gets easily sucked in by sensational popular opinion, and that they don't really know **** about boxing.

Calzacghe fans are impossible to argue with because they never look at the facts with these two fighters, only that they hope he wins. Joe has never beaten anyone close to hopkins even at this age so I say hopkins embarrases him and sends his fans home broke from the long trip they have been saving for.

So you want to state before the fight that Hopkins isn't old?

I don't often disagree with you but erm, Hopkins really is old, and he really is a middleweight.
