Middleweight: Jake La Motta V Marvellous Marvin Hagler

Light Welterweight: Manny Pacquaio V Roberto Duran

Welterweight: Henry Armstrong V Floyd Mayweather Jnr

I'm going to be completely traditional in terms of heavyweights and keep them where they were. (though Marciano-Holyfield is one of the greatest spectacles i can think of ever, Marciano win btw)

    Ali-Marciano

Holyfield-Haye (he edges Jirov, but he gets destroyed anyway)

    Charles-Spinks

    Jones-Calzaghe

    Hagler-Monzon

    McCallum-Hearns

    Robinson-Leonard

    Pryor-Locche

Duran-Whittaker (i might change this to Gans when you all aren't looking)

Arguello-Chavez (Floyd my numero uno though)

    Saldivar-Sanchez

    Gomez-Morales

    Olivares-Jofre

    Tapia-Watanabe

    Lynch-Perez

    Gushiken-Chang

    Lopez-Calderon

I'm gonna' try and not go for the usual Halger-Monzon/Ali-Tyson/Pea-Duran style combos, though of course I'd be psyched to see those fights.

    Heavyweight-Joe Louis vs Jack Dempsey

    Light-Heavy-Bob Foster vs Ezzard Charles

    Middle-Julian Jackson vs Nigel Benn

Junior Middle-Mike McCallum vs Tommy Hearns

    Welter-Kid Gavilan vs Jose Napoles

    Light-Welter-Aaron Pryor vs Meldrick Taylor

    Lightweight-Ike Williams vs Carlos Ortiz

    Super-Feather-Alexis Arguello vs Floyd Mayweather

    Feather-Naseem Hamed vs Danny Lopez

Super Bantam-Eder Jofre vs Wilfredo Gomez

    Bantam-Carlos Zarate vs Ruben Olivares

    Super-Fly-Khaosai Galaxy vs Christian Mijares

    Fly-Pascual Perez vs Benny Lynch

Light-Fly-Jung-Koo Chang vs Myung Woo Yuh

HBO could do half, Showtime the other :good

EDIT: Didn't bother to read the '8 Bouts only', pick your favourite eight :good

Amazingly I altered mine straight after, and without seeing yours. I forgot Light-Welter and saw the Benny Lynch book on my shelf and thought '****, Perez vs Lynch is much better' eerie, we have some similar picks.

I didn't do Cruiser mainly as there's no one I feel can stand up to Holy. Toney vs Qawi is interesting though.

    Tiger vs Lamotta (WOW!)

Also, ain't seen the Driscoll footage that has been making you wet your pants the last few weeks. Explanation (sorry to thread starter, hopefully you will find this interesting nonetheless) and is it on the tube?

Get ready to cream in your kecks my friend. Now the Driscoll-Pep fight was clearly a joke because it's between two purest of pure boxers. But seen as though you asked, you will definitely laugh, but i'm impressed because regardless of how it looks it's just the fact that the other guy can't do **** so it qualifies as a schooling imo. And i love that.

It would be, i feel Yuh is not quite the master boxer that Gushiken was, but still a great ring general who liked to really use strength to own the centre of the ring and his defence for such a fighter is good also.
