Every Tyson fanatic knows he didn't train for Buster. Tyson that fought Ruddock would of beat him.

Douglas would've showed up for a paycheck, and gotten laid out, like he did against Holyfield.

:good yea i think so 2. but then again, without amato, tyson was just not the same. buster i'm sure just wouldn't have the same motivation. it would have to depend on mike, who also was not the most stable mentally during that time especially. tyson takes the rematch fo sho no doubt in my mind

D'Amato died really early in Tyson's career. Tyson was always a bit of a mental wreck, but it wouldn't matter against a fat Douglas who simply is looking for a paycheck.

Douglas disgraced himself and the HW title with that non-effort.

Tyson would win the rematch, Douglas had it all right on the right night, it wouldn't happen again, Tyson would stop him early.

Tyson, remember, Tyson also tried to rematch douglas in '99 and the NSAC nixed it and he fought Botha instead. To answer the question, Tyson by ko

Hard to say. Tyson was not the same mentally. I think Tyson would get the ko just because Douglas physically deteriorated.

Tyson wouldn't bother with a tune-up (that is only for when you have been inactive/incarcerated or for guys who live in Monaco).

    Yep.

Douglas was fear-driven. Since he won the first fight, he would not have the same fear of Tyson - and get KOed early.

Douglas would have shown up for that fight about 700 pounds heavier too, just like with Holy.

Both Douglas and Holyfield have Tyson's number. He will ko even quicker.
